Well...I cannot believe that it is already the middle of November and almost a YEAR since Madelynn came into our lives. I do not know what we used to do without her, but I would not want it any other way now that she is here!!
Her smile fill our house and hearts everyday, and I could just sit and watch her all day!!
We had Jason & Megan's wedding last Friday, and Madelynn was wonderful through most of the service. Mom & Dad were there to help me out, and I would not have been able to do it without them. I was able to help out with pinning on flowers once the guys got there while they watched Maddy (totally against their will...LOL)
Once the ceremony started we thought that we would give her a book to look at that would keep her quiet, but we couldn't have been more wrong! She loves looking at pages in books and talking to them. The second we turned to a new page, she immediately bursted out with "Da-Do" (her favorite thing to say, and the name for EVERYTHING that she points to) I LOVE IT!! But she made it through the ceremony, which was beautiful and then went out to Lindenhurst with Katie, her babysitter for the night. Unfortunately she was so out of her schedule (sleep and eating) that she was a mess for Katie (SO SORRY ABOUT THAT!)
What a Daddy's Girl!!
Maddy loves just sitting around with Daddy on the couch...usually watching Soccer!! We just might have the next Mia Hamm!

Maddy and I had an eventful day on Wednesday this week. I had work, picked up Maddy, and then we were out on the town until about 9pm! First, we went over to deliver Great-Grandpa Reeve's Birthday Card! We were over there for about an hour and a half. Maddy was crawling all over the place, all over the couch, and smiling like crazy! It was so nice to see Grandpa and catch up! :)
Then, we went to Northbrook to the Potluck Dinner for FEA (the club I sponsor...Future Educators of America). My students were so excited to see her and she was the entertainment for the night. They were playing Pass-the-Baby all night!! They were setting time limits for each person holding her!! She was able to try some of the foods there and LOVED THEM!!
This weekend we have NO PLANS, so it will be a nice family weekend!!! :)
I thought this was so cute...
