2 Week Countdown!!

I have been so bad at posting recently!! I apologize, but now the craziness of school and grad school are slowing a little bit!! ONLY 2 WEEKS OF SCHOOL LEFT UNTIL SUMMER!!! :)

We have had a crazy couple of weeks with school and grad school, because I AM OFFICIALLY GRADUATED!!

I had my final comprehensive exam this past Saturday down at EIU. It was about a 2 hour oral exam; just me and three FCS teachers. I really thought that I was going to get sick on the drive down because I was so nervous, but in the end it was not too bad. I even Passed with Distinction!!

Wedding season has officially begun as well...we have had two weddings in the past 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago was Kristen & Chris's wedding...so beautiful and a lot of fun!!! This past Saturday was Courtney & Sunny's wedding!! That made for a long day, being at EIU in the am and then the wedding at night, but it was SO MUCH FUN and a great way to end a busy day!! 2 Down 6 To GO!! :)

Madelynn is getting SO BIG!!! She is rolling all over the place, eating her toes (as you can see in the picture), babbling A LOT (unfortunately for me it sounds an awful lot like she says DA DA DA...but it is SO CUTE!), eating like crazy, and just being overall AMAZING!!! I don't know what I did without her and I cannot wait for everyday that I get home to just squeeze her...especially with all of the rolls!!! We have finally been to a couple of daddy's soccer games on Sunday mornings and had a lot of fun!!! It was a little warm this past Sunday, but the team won for us!!

IT'S MAY!!!

Happy May Everyone!! It has been a while since I have posted on here, but a lot has gone on since then...we are now into our crazy spring/summer!!

Maddy is growing like crazy...rolls on her legs, eating LOTS of food, and growing out of her 0-3/3 month clothes completely!!! Everyday I go to pick her up is the BEST and I love saying HI to her and having her face light up with a huge smile...I wait for that time all day!!

The last post was the first time she tried cereal, but she is already onto about 4 Tablespoons of rice cereal at a time. I cannot feed it to her fast enough!!! She sits there in her Bumbo seat (THANKS TO GBN CHEERS), mouth open, and panting until I get that next spoonful of cereal ready!! I LOVE IT!!! And I told some of you I would get a video of this...so check out the video at the bottom of this post!! AMAZING!!!!

She is really starting to grab at things...especially when Mommy and Daddy are eating!!! So far she has grabbed at green beans, a Fillet o' Fish, and a Margarita(uh oh...she is starting early!!) Some of them made it to her mouth, and the look on her face when she 'tasted them' was PRICELESS!!! Definitely time to start moving everything out of her reach or we will have everything on our lap!!

Wedding stuff has started in FULL FORCE!! Mommy went to a beautiful shower on Sunday for Pam...I can't wait for the wedding, it came so fast!! :) There was a bachelorette party for Kristen on Saturday night after my chaperone assignment at GBN...watching RENT (which was AMAZING...I wouldn't expect any less from a GBN production). This weekend is shower free, but on May 15th we have out our first wedding of 8 this summer/fall!!! Can't wait to see Kristen's wedding!!! WOOHOO!!!
Kyle is still working like crazy at ARS and playing soccer 2-3 times a week...always on the go!!

Well...thats it for now, but I can't wait for Sunday, because it is MY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY as a MOMMY!!! :)
