We Tried Cereal!!

I would have to say that the face gives it away!! She was not impressed and most of it came right back out! LOL

We probably made it through about 1 teaspoon of the 1 Tablespoon that we had before she was upset and wanting to really eat!!


We'll try again tomorrow!! :)

It was a fun week, and we were so excited to have Maddy's 4 Month Visit to the doctor!!

She is now 13lb 8oz and all of her measurements (height, weight, etc) are all in the 50% range!!! Meaning she is just PERFECT!! This first picture is from the doctor's office while we were showing her how we can hold our head up!! What a good girl!!

It was also SO exciting because we are going to start eating Rice Cereal tomorrow!! We have to ease her into it, but it is so fun that she will be eating something from a spoon now!!!

Maddy also got two shots, but was so great with them...we were having fun with her Giraffe rattle when she got them so maybe that made them a little better!! No more doctor appointments for 2 months!!

Madelynn has also been having a lot of fun everyday of the week with Julie and the twins at her daycare!! She talks up a storm all day with them!!! The girls say goodbye to her everyday and can't wait for her to show up the next morning!!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE that the weather has gotten better so that we can take walks everyday when I get home from work. It is so nice and refreshing after a long day of work and some fun time for Mommy & Maddy time!! We even got an all family walk on Wednesday night...Mommy, Daddy, Maddy, & Eva!! :)

This weekend will be nice and relaxing and just perfect for spending time together!!!

4 Months Old!!

Wow does time fly!!! I cannot believe that she is already over 4 months old...Summer break will be here before we know it!! She loves the keys that I bought her last week and talks to them A LOT!!!

This week has been pretty crazy and a lot of stuff happened!! The remnants of this week are still laying around the place...especially a couple cups of Iced Coffee (which we are addicted to!!)

- Easter was so nice...It was Madelynn's 1st Easter and we got to see all of the grandparents between Saturday and Sunday!! Saturday we went to church at Willow (a beautiful service as always) and then over to The Anderson house for snacks/desserts. Sunday we went out to Vittorio de Roma for a delicious brunch with Grandma Jamie and then to Great Great Aunt Bonnie's house!! We took some pictures, but we will get them loaded on the computer and posted later on this week (hopefully)

- Madelynn started at her permanent daycare in Palatine!! It is a great place; there are only a couple of children there and she already has twin 3 year old girls who LOVE her to pieces. I come to pick her up and they say, "Bye Baby!" everytime!!

- I took my written Comprehensive Exam for grad school!! It was a 2 hour long test that was NOT FUN!! I will find out this week how I did and then I have to sit and have a 2 hour Oral Exam! :( Really...I wish I was just DONE!

- Kyle and I went to the Fire game on Saturday night! It was a lot of fun and we had an awesome group of people there!! We tailgated, played bags, and then went in for the Home Opener!! ***Loved the Bags set made by Mom & Dad...Thanks!!***


- Kyle is still practicing and getting ready for the outdoor season of soccer...Sunday morning games will start soon and I cannot wait to take Madelynn to them!! I hope that the weather this summer is nice enough...Me & Pam's morning soccer, bagels, and coffee will be great!!

- It was so nice to have visitors this week Steph Parker came over in the beginning of the week & Lisa Rohrer was here on Thursday!! It was nice to catch up with them!!

- Daddy LOVES his grill and we have grilled out several times this week!! We even had some shishkabobs one day!!! :)

- We went over to The Reeve's house on Sunday and hung out there for a couple of hours!! Grandpa put Maddy in her first Brewer's Hat!!! LOVE THE PIC!!!
