SPRING BREAK!!

FINALLY!! Spring break is here...Mommy gets to spend a whole week at home with the girls!! :) Daddy has a job that he is going to all next week, so it is just going to be Mommy, Madelynn, and Eva!

We will definitely miss him this week, but it is so nice that this company (ARS in Hoffman Estates) is asking him back from week to week.
Kyle is loving the freelance world and not only is going into ARS during the week, but has several freelance jobs that he is working on at home. He is getting ready to start outdoor season of soccer (Madelynn and Mommy cant wait to sit outside on Sunday mornings and cheer him on!!) In "training" Kyle and Eva are taking several runs a week at night...which is beneficial to both Daddy and Eva!! Kyle's indoor game was at 9:15 this week...still a little late for Maddy, so we will wait until there is an earlier one that we can make it to.


Mommy had a busy week at school with cheerleading, but now it is over until May....which will be a nice break for a while and allow me to come home pretty much right after school!! Madelynn even came to one of our cheer meetings, met all of the new cheerleaders, and got to spend time with the FCS department (She even fell asleep with Megan while I was finishing my meeting...thanks so much for your help!!) :) I have a feeling she is going to be the #1 fan of cheerleading this year!! Who knows she just might have to get a GBN outfit to wear to the games!! GO GBN!! I have been LOVING teaching Fit For Life since I got back because I get to work out everyday...Friday's workout was amazing because I was able to get back to the Eliptical, Bike and Treadmill!!

Madelynn had a GREAT week (she told me!) She got to spend time with Grandma Jamie, Grandma Laura, and "Aunt" Emily this week and was smiling and talking with all of them!! Thank you all so much for all of your help...it is so nice to have family that is so willing to step in and help us out!!
We are now starting to look for a more permanent in-home daycare for Madelynn near Palatine, since we really dont know where Kyle is going to be from week to week. So if you know of someone within about 5 minutes and they have an opening for an infant, let us know!!
Of course posting would not be complete without a video/pictures so we have a video of Madelynn on Saturday morning hanging out with her playgym...she loves the hanging mirror and rattles and was talking to Mommy!! :) Love it...and the outfit!!! DANCING HERE SHE COMES!!!

She's Already Talking Back!!

Here she goes...its the start of the talking and she has got it down!! On Thursday night, after getting home from Grandma & Grandpa Reeve's house we were sitting on the couch, I was talking to her as usual, and all of the sudden she was talking back to me!!

Of course we grabbed the iPhone and captured as much of it as we could...here is a little video of Madelynn talking to Mommy!! I love it and she has kept talking ever since!!

Loving Soccer

Well...Madelynn watched her first Manchester United soccer game this weekend. If you can't tell she LOVED it and was even wearing her Man U outfit from Grandma & Grandpa Reeve!!

She had her first trip to the Doggie Park today with Daddy, Eva, Aunt Stephanie, Holly & Brody!! How exciting...there will be plenty more of these coming now that the weather is nicer!!
Mommy had to miss it because of day 1 out of 3 for cheerleading tryouts :( Only 9 school days until Spring Break...THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS!!

She's 3 Months Old!

Well...I know I said that I would be posting more often, but obviously that didn't happen. Here is the 3 month update!!
Can I just start with, Madelynn is the most amazing thing ever! Kyle and I do not know what we would do without her!!

It is amazing the difference only 1 month makes. Last month she was still in the stage where if she wasn't sleeping she was crying, but now she is awake a lot more, and will just lay/sit around happy as a clam. We even get smiles when we are talking to her!!





Highlights from the past couple of months include:
- smiling A LOT
- Rolling over onto her stomach...she doesn't quite know what to do when she does, but will soon! :)
- Hanging out with daddy everyday...Mom is very jealous of this as she went back to work in mid-Feb :(
- sitting up (loves sitting and watching Fox Soccer Channel; according to Daddy)
- Sat in the Bumbo seat once (I cannot wait until we can use this more often)
- Sleeping in the crib (What a BIG girl!)
- Spending the night away from Mom & Dad once (we slept until like 7am only though because we wanted to get home to Maddy so bad!)
- Eating from a bottle (it was a rough transition at first, but now we are all good!)
- Weighing 12lbs!! WOOHOO!
- She took out and then put the paci in her mouth! (We have it on video...even if it was a coincidence, we have the evidence)
- Going to GBN to meet the cheerleaders and Megan (she definitely put on a show with those eyebrows!!)
-Spending time with all of the grandparents (She loves every second)
- Going to meet her 3rd cousin Ryan (they are good friends already...hanging out and going to the store together- that is them in the picture below! )
- Meeting baby Liam (yup her two friends so far are boys...what guy magnet)
- Loving the bath! (she is so good when she is getting a bath...she just HATES the second I take her out of there)
- Announcing her Godparents: Kevin Reeve & Stephanie Parker (soon-to-be-Reeve)
- Getting ready to dance with her dance shoes from cousin Jennifer, dance socks from Pam, and ballet shoe outfit from Steph...she will be ready in no time!
- Celebrating lots of holidays: Her 1st Christmas, Mom&Dad's Anniversary, her 1st New Years, Valentine's Day, Daddy's B-Day, Juice's B-Day, Steph's B-Day
- Mommy finishing grad school classes!! No more long Saturdays away from my favorites! :)

What we are looking forward to:
- SPRING BREAK ...mama will be home all week (only 2 weeks of classes left until then)
- Our first Easter
- Getting a Maya Wrap...we tried it out today and it was so nice; mine is on order right now
- Warm weather and walks with Madelynn ( I have been waiting for that since she was born)
- Lots of weddings this year!!
- EVERY SECOND WE HAVE WITH HER!!!
