Could Be Any Day Now!!

Week 38

Well we are almost there...and I MADE IT THROUGH MY GRAD SCHOOL CLASS!!! :)
My goal was to make it to December 5th, and baby decided to help me out!!! Now that this class is done, I have 4 class meetings (1 course) and our comp exams and I will have my Master's!! So exciting!!

But more than that is that this baby has about 6 days until they should come into this world!! Baby Anderson is constantly moving around in there (it must be getting cramped) and every day I wake up, it is hard not to think that this could be it!!
Kyle and I are so excited and cannot wait to meet our little one (and see if it is a boy or girl...now we are at the point where we REALLY want to know!!).

Our place is all decorated for Christmas and ready for baby!!! I love how it looks!! Here is a picture of our tree (and of course Eva, always ready for a picture)

Week 37

Well...I guess it could be any day now!! We are sooooo close to the end!!! We have gotten so much done in the past week or so. Nursery done, Turkey Day, and decorated for Christmas!! (I know that if we didn't get it done before the baby comes, it will never happen!!) It looks so great in our house!!!!

Doctor visits have been weekly for the past couple of weeks, and will continue until Baby Anderson is here!! :) According to the doctor, things are going well...progressing as they expect and measuring in where they want at this point! No more estimates on the weight, so we will all have to see how big/small it decides to be!!

Last shower tomorrow :) and then a full week at school!!!

Counting Them Down

Week 36

Well...we are officially full-term now!! Baby is just cooking away in there for the next few weeks and everything looked good at our visit on Wednesday. No more size estimates this time, but it will be interesting to see how big Baby Anderson will be when they grace the world with their presence!! :)

Two days of school this week and then a 5 DAY WEEKEND!!! We cannot wait for that...nice and relaxing and a lot of time to put my feet up (which are looking wonderful by the way!! They are definitely swelling up and we call them my Shrek feet!)

So nice to have a new cup holder!! :)

We did SOOOO much to the nursery this weekend and will post pictures and a video again sometime this week!!! WE LOVE IT!!!

Big Baby!!

Week 35

WE GOT TO SEE THE BABY THIS WEEK!!! It had been a long time since we have seen baby on an ultrasound (since week 19!!) so it was super exciting when we went and saw baby on Thursday!!!

We got lots of information at that visit:
- Baby is estimated at a 6 1/2 pounds (yes...RIGHT NOW!)
- Baby is head down at this time (good to know...even though baby could still move around a little)
- I was cleared to work until Dec 11th as long as things keep going at the same pace they are now

It was so exciting to see the baby again, we have a few GREAT pictures and may try to scan them in so that I can post them!! It definitely looks like baby has my nose!!! :)



We also had a shower at Desert Rose (Kyle's work) on Wednesday!! Thank you all so much for the great gifts and the delicious meal!!! Here is the cake that they had for us!!! YUMMY!!! :)

I had a great time seeing all of you and hearing all of the stories that you had to share!!

Lots to do this coming week...my goal is to have my bag packed for the hospital this weekend and continue working on baby's room!!! It looks so awesome, and we will post newer pics/videos as we complete more!!

Done With ChildBirth Class!!

Week 33

Well...this week was our last prepared childbirth class!! I cannot believe how fast these four weeks of class have gone...I feel like we just started and now we are done with all of the material, the tour of the hospital, and the relaxation (AH-HEE...yea, thats how they have you breathing now a days!) It was a great class to take, now we both know a little more about how everything is going to work...although we know everyone is different and no two labors are the same.
I am really going to try to make it through without an epidural, but I am definitely not ruling it out as a possibility!!!

The nursery is done with the painting and we are starting to get it filled with all sorts of fun stuff for the baby!! :) The crib will be here soon...thanks to Mom and Dad...so we will have pictures with that all set up REALLY soon!!! It is such an adorable room for him or her...I know they will love it!

There was also a shower today, Sunday, for my families!! It was a great time and everything was wonderful!!! It was great to have all of our family and friends over for the event, and we got some amazing stuff for our little dribbler!!! We have it all in the room right now and cannot wait to get it all set up!!! Thank you so much to my 'GREAT' aunts for all of their hard work getting everything put together!!

Well...off to start another week of school!! (Only one more full week before we get Veteran's Day off next Wednesday!!) That day off will be so much fun too, because that is our 35/36 week ultrasound and we will get to see the baby again for the first time since week 19!! :) I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Here is the Week 32 Belly!! The baby (and Mom) keep growing...day by day!!! This was a crazy week at school, with it being homecoming, but we all made it through!!

Well here it is...it keeps on growing!!! This was a crazy week for me with homecoming at GBN and working on grad school work!! It was a never ending week!

BUT the reward at the end of the week was the shower that we had today!! It was a great shower and we will post some pictures of the fun stuff that we got real soon!! We have already set some of it up and are so excited!!! Thank you to everyone who was there today...it meant so much to me and Kyle!!

Well...you will probably see another post this week once we have all of the stuff set up in the room from today!! :)

Still Cookin'

Week 30

Well...only 10 more weeks until Baby Anderson will grace the world with "its" presence!! I still have no idea what this baby is going to be, I really did think that maybe, being the one carrying the baby, I could tell or have a feeling if it was going to be one or the other, but I TRUELY HAVE NO IDEA!! Everyone else has their theories and feelings, but we are all going to have to wait for another 2 months!! :) It is fun to hear what everyone thinks though...my students even have told me what they think it is!!

No weird cravings yet, except for wanting chocolate milk & ice cream all of the time!! Which is kind of nice...I mean I always loved them before, but now I just have an excuse for wanting to have them all of the time!! ;)

Only 3 grad school classes left until the baby and 4 left afterwards!! WOO HOO!! This will be so nice to have completed, not only to free up my Saturdays, but also for my PAYCHECK!! :) Cannot complain there at all!!!

WOW!!!

Well...We both thought that this picture deserved its own posting and I think that you can all tell why!! :) The second Kyle put the camera up to take the picture, all I heard was, "WOOOOOWW!" LOL I knew that this one would be good!! If you didn't think that I had popped yet, here ya go!!

Week 29

Week 29 had something else exciting, it was my 25th Birthday!! 29th week and birthday on the 29th!! :) How much fun! I had to take a picture of our beautiful kitchen table from that night...Hot Pink Roses from my AMAZING hubby and beautiful colored flowers from the coworkers along with all of the cards!! Thank you to everyone who made my birthday wonderful....either coming out to dinner with us, sending a card, emailing, facebook messages, and texts!! It was a great week, but I have just now been able to sit down for the first time since Monday!!! With cheers, school, and grad school, this week has been crazy!! I got home from grad school and took a MUCH NEEDED nap!! :) Now we are getting ready to head out to Wildfire to officially celebrate the b-day!

Week 28

Week 28!!!

Here we are at week 28...things are going really well and I am just getting into the craziness of school!!! We have been working on the nursery, and Kyle has most of the chair rail up in the room!! (more pics to come as each step gets completed!!)

Well we are at week 27 right now and getting so excited!! The room is all ready for the chair rail now, and we have completed our registry at Babies R Us, which is so nice!! :) It was so much fun going and picking out all of the stuff for the little one!! Mom and I went out there this Sunday to finalize everything, and it was great picking out all of the furniture, supplies and looking at all of the clothes that we will eventually be able to pick out!! It really is hard these days not knowing if it is a boy or a girl...so many things are pink and blue!! We are still anticipating the surprise coming soon!!!

School, cheerleading, and grad school have been keeping me very busy so far...and also making the weeks go by so fast!! Kyle is enjoying all of the free soccer channels that we have right now, but we just found out that they are only here until September 30th!! (I am thinking that we just might have to up our package so he can still watch soccer 24/7...it may just be the thing that would get us through those late nights! LOL)

Well...we are working hard on getting the nursery ready for Baby Anderson!! :) Kyle has been painting the first couple of coats on the walls this Labor Day Weekend; I wish I could help out, but gotta stay away from the paint fumes for the baby!!

We decided to go with a solid yellow wall (Pale Daffodil to be exact!) It is looking awesome so far, and we are going to put a white chair rail in the center of the room!! This picture is after one coat:

The baby is kicking like crazy right now, and Kyle has even seen it a couple of times! :) How wonderful and exciting this all is!! What a miracle life is!!

Welcome to Our World!

Well...as most of you already know, we are expecting our 'little dribbler' on December 12, 2009! We do not know yet if it is a boy or girl, but the one thing we do know is that we are either getting a tiny dancer or a future Soccer MVP! :)

This picture is us on our vacation to Las Vegas in August...we are on top of the Stratosphere.

This summer has been very productive and we are starting to prep the extra bedroom to become the nursery! (Slowly but surely clearing out all of the 'stuff' that was just sitting around in there to make room for the baby!) Here is what the room looks like now with most of the stuff out...we will post pictures of the room in stages as it gets done:
We started taking pictures around week 18 of 'The Belly'...we will post all of them up until now on this post, and post them every week from now on, so that you can see how it starts to grow! :)
